My 4 siblings and I needed help applying for Medicaid for our 92 year old mother. Metro Medicaid Consultants, David and Kelly Jennings, were referred to us by a senior housing consultant. Our situation was complicated by family feuding where some of us were not speaking to others. Certain documentation was needed because of the sale of mom's condo and Medicaid's 5 year financial look back period. Kelly was our main contact person and handled everything very professionally. She never took sides in our feud, asking only for the documentation needed to present our case. Kelly and David have had years of experience working with Medicaid and knew exactly what was required and when to submit it. They advised us on spending down mom's money by pre-paying for her assisted living to make the transfer to Medicaid as seamless as possible. Their services are an approved expense by Medicaid which means the children didn't have to pay out of pocket for their expert help; since I'm the one who would have had to navigate Medicaid on my own I especially appreciated this! Metro Medicaid Consultants are Awesome! Medicaid applications can be complicated even in the most basic of situations. But add in any unique variations and it becomes a nightmare. Metro Medicaid Consultants helped us with my Father's needs which were complicated by my Mom's condition. David and Kelly provided us with honesty, compassion and a plan for our situation. I really enjoyed working with David and Kelly. I live in South Korea, and my mom lives in Denver.
